It costs the RSPCA over £1,300 a day to run Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre which relies entirely on donations. The centre has over 30 kennels, 36 cat pens, 18 rabbit pods and 4 ferret pods, as well as room for small animals, farm animals and wildlife. Providing specialist care for domestic and farm animals and also looks after injured wildlife before its release or transfer to one of the RSPCA's four wildlife centres.
